I am Dumbfounded

We went to version 7 a few months back, and I wanted to review the changes made to the Web Access version.  I was of the opinion that prior to v7, it was not ready for prime time, as they say.  Cumbersome, difficult to navigate, awkward, pick your synonym.  But, I'm trying to be fair, so I gave v7 a gander.  First thing I did was try to status an activity with an actual start.  Where's the Status tab?  Where's the General tab?  Am I missing some permissions?  I'm the Admin, Superuser, there should be nothing I can't do.  Hours,
