Using Labor Overtime Costing in Project Plan Resource Assignments
Challenge is to utilize in the Project Plan Resource assignments the labor overtime multipliers that we set up for labor costing . That is, if the planning resource is defined as person/expenditure type (employee/overtime), then the Project Plan will show $900 for 10 hours of resource assignment when the employee resource class rate schedule rate is $60 per hour for the employee and the labor overtime multiplier for expenditure type, overtime, is 1.5. Of course, this all works ok for labor costing, but not in the Project Plan when we choose employee + overtime as the planning resource. The Plan resource simply prices the resource
