Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Accounting FlexField - Future Segment not index, can this be changed

Can I change the Future1 segment of the Accounting Flexfield to Indexed?

Concerned the system will slow down if the segment is not indexed since we have 3 sets of books, 200+ companies and over 30,000 code combinations..

Future1, Segment5 is enabled and displayed. However, now the users want to input 100+ values and the segment does not have Indexed checked

Validation = Constant and Defautl Value = 0000 (I see no reason to change)

Security = Non-Hierarchical Secuiry

Currently on 11.5.10.2+, Database 11gr2, ADI 7.2

History goes back to 2004
