dashboard prompt values listed on report not showing up

Normally, when the report displays on the same page as the dashboard, it shows the actual values selected by the user in the filter

on the report.  What I noticed is that when I have the report open from a link on the dashboard into another window, the selected

filter information is not shown.  How do I get this to show when the report displays in a new window?
