Cancel or Close an Internal requisition

A user had created an Internal requisition for Qty 2. This was interfaced into a sales order. The warehouse had shipped only 1 out of the 2. The other one was backordered and the line was cancelled. The item which was shipped was received against the internal requisition.

Now the user is not able to close nor cancel the Internal requisition. The user wants to close or cancel the internal requisition line or else it would appear as a supply in the next min max run.

How can this be done, please help.
