11g R2 RAC One Node cluster with SAN replication
We're looking at building a DR site for a 11g R2 RAC One Node cluster with SAN replication (metro-mirror). My thoughts are once the primary site is installed, with ASM disk groups mirrored to DR site except OCR and voting disks, I will shut down the cluster. I will then start a new independent installation at the DR site with a new LUN for the OCR and voting disks. I will have a new cluster name and SCAN and then start up ASM hoping that it will recognize the mirrored ASM disk groups.
Any thoughts..pros and cons with SAN replication for RAC One Node & ASM?
