Periodic Mass Copy

Question on the Periodic Mass Copy from Corp Books to Tax:

Do most companies run it a) once after corp book close  b) once immediately before corp book close  c) multiple times before corp book close, then once after close?  Are there any issues with running it multiple times prior to Corp book close.
