connect to sybase iq to essbase via sql interface

Hi,

Does anyone have any information about whether essbase can load data from sybase iq via sql interface using rules file? I'm getting conflict information from the support. In 3/2011, Oracle support told me that "BUG 10154622 - NEEDS SYBASE IQ 15 TO BE ADDED AS SUPPORTED WITH THE ESSBASE AS DATA SOURCE" has been approved for the future release EPM 11.1.2.2.0 and is not Yet Released". But now, I'm told that "As per the information from the Development team, there are currently no further plans to certify Sybase IQ as a data source".
