In PO design, does the LOD (User's level of Display) still exist in E1 (compared to WS)

I'm wondering if the World Software 's functionality has been reproduced in E1.  I mean, the hierarchical matching between profile level and PO's setup and especially, the  hard coded value 'P' which allows a PO setting to be displayed and  protected ?
