Regd- steps to configure OBIEE 11g with an External LDAP Authenticator

Hi ,

I am new to OBIEE world. I am currently working on configuring OBIEE 11g with our extenal LDAP server so that developers can login with their LDAP logins. In my case the external LDAP is Novell edirectory.


I have tried all known steps from http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E21764_01/bi.1111/e10543/privileges.htm#BABHFFEI
But the login to OBIEE 11g ( to analytics or xmlpserver ) app does NOT work

Steps done:-
1. Tested LDAP connectivity between Weblogic server and external LDAP server and it looks good. I was able to login with
my external LDAP accout to both WLS console and EM console
