Hello,

           We are facing some performance problem . vmstat and iostat taking more time to complete it. Oracle engineer found that i need to cleanup dangling device files. He suggesetd to rum devfsadm -Csv command . The output of it contains the device files which are use in production. Suppose I m running the devfsadm -Cv file then it will remove the dangling paths only or current existing device path also it will remove . We have multipathing. Could you pls let know devfsadm -Cv what it will do exactly. is it going to remove the production path also?
