Design Studio on linux desktop

Hi,
I know it's not officially supported, but does anyone run Design Studio on Linux? I have tried but, after installing the Design Studio plugins, I have some problems.
I tried with Eclipse Ganymede (featured in manuals) and Galileo, on Ubuntu Natty. Eclipse works great otherwise in my platform for Java development.
OSM process drawing crashes the whole application and ASAP cartridges design is not possible due to lack of some tab rows.
