Provisioning ODM - About Verisign SSL, your subdomain, and ODM

Please note that to use On Demand Marketing, Oracle will set up a subdomain with an SSL certificate for you.  This is a required step to use many features within ODM.   Even if you do not intend to use webforms/microsites there are other objects that use the base url (like email tracking).  There is no additional charge to you for obtaining this SSL certificate.

You should expect to be contacted by Verisign to verify your SSL certificate.  Without verification from you, the provisioning of your ODM instance can not be completed.  Verisign will contact your domain administrator either by email or phone.  If your domain administrator fails to verify Verisign's request, Verisign will eventually cancel the SSL certificate and the process would have to start all over from the beginning.
