Provisioning ODM - about your subdomain and DNS settings

On Demand Marketing provides features to host microsites and landing pages with a branded web domain owned by your company.   As part of the provisioning questionnaire, Oracle will ask which domain name you want to use for your branded microsites.  Typically, this will be a sub-domain of your company website.

When Oracle sets up your On Demand Marketing account based on your questionnaire, the confirmation message will provide an IP address assigned to your website.  Your company webmaster will need to configure a DNS entry to associate the domain you selected with the public IP address that Oracle Customer Care provides you.  One common approach is to create a CNAME or ANAME entry on your company DNS.  Configuring your DNS must be implemented on your system by your administrator; Oracle Customer Care can not complete this function for you.

Howdy, Stranger!
