Create Launcher S11 Express--can't access file system

I am using Solaris 11 Express with the latest updates applied via Support Entitlement.  I am trying to use Create Launcher feature under GNOME.  It works fine if I Browse for a command in my home directory, but if I try to go outside of the Home Directory to Browse the file system, the launcher hangs and I have to do a kill -9.

Has anyone seen this before?
