Irec : cnadidate Application status notification

When ever we change the candidate application Status for applied vacancy template, the candidate has to notifiied with pre-defined notification message. How can we achieve this.

Only during "Termination Application" status update, able to see some comments can be entered, even that also does not go as notification message to candidate. Please advice how can we have customized notification messages for application status update
