Step Progression Day Method

We are testing Step Progression using the Day method, from date started (DST).  Some test results move the employee to the next step when they meet the number of days, and the rate for the next step is used to pay all hours for that period.  We are expecting this to happen in the next pay period or in some parameters, create a new timecard and pro rate.  (That seems to only happen in the Hours method...).  

We are also using the combination of Job, step and business unit.

Is this correct or does the accumulator perhaps need to be changed?
