New button in the Prepare Mass Additions form

Hi Guys,

Clicking the New button in the Prepare Mass Additions form (FAXMADDS) results in a "FUTURE ADD" rather than a new addition. Becasue system generate number for future add asset but not shown in "Asset Workbench /Asset Book/FAR.What is the purpose ?
