ASCP does not recognize intransit times between orgs when using direct transfers

Has anybody sucessfully loaded intransit leadtimes when loading planned orders while using direct transfers?  Our organization wants to use the leadtime offsets for planning purposes (we use ASCP), however for the actual transfer between orgs (to bypass intransit and receiving) use a direct org transfer.  We use sourcing rules with a ship method and intransit offset of 5 days. ASCP is not seeing the 5day offset and is planning the supplies to complete on the day we need them in the demanding org.
