Hello,
In About Validating a Zone Migration Before the Migration Is Performed it's said that "The zone on the target system does not have to be configured on the new host before doing a trial-run attach."

I don't think it's the case as I have tried but have gotten:
hubble:~ # cat /tmp/test
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE zone PUBLIC "-//Sun Microsystems Inc//DTD Zones//EN" "file:///usr/share/lib/xml/dtd/zonecfg.dtd.1">
<!--
    DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE.  Use zonecfg(1M) instead.
-->
<zone name="s11-z2" zonepath="/zones/s11-z2" autoboot="false" brand="ipkg" ip-type="exclusive">

Howdy, Stranger!
