Upgrade Guide 11i to 12.1.3 - Ch 3

Hello,

In Chapter 3, page 3 - 5 and 3 - 6 it says, "Apply latest product patches. Determine the latest product-specific patches." I don't understand what they are referring to, is there patches for each Module that you need to apply? Is there any Metalink Doc? Please advise. Thanks in advance.
