P4210 : Updating F4211 User Reserved Fields in E9.02 Sales Order Entry but having problem with Trans

I hope I have put this in the correct discussion forum, apologies if not.

Background : We are currently doing an Xe to E9.02 conversion and there was an Xe mod which updated the F4211 User Reserved fields immediately after the End Doc on the OK Post Button Clicked, and it updated without a problem, using a standard Update.

Problem : Having applied the same modifications to the E9.02 version of P4210, we are getting an error at this point, due to the F4211 record not being unlocked. I guess this is connected with the fact that Transaction Processing has only been switched on for P4210 from E8.10.
