Strange problems with OVM on Linux

Hello,
The Linux group on the company is having a hard time trying to make things work.
Everybody is disappointed with the product.
And they are virtually giving up.

Then I thought I could bring them some helpful information from this community and that's why I'm writing these lines.
They state:

1. The "teleport" functionally simply doesn't work.
2. When a guest filesystem is partitioned simply with a / and swap they get "kernel panic" upon first boot.
3. Sometimes they loose control of a guest which still runs but can't be "managed/controled" as usual/expected.
   

I know these info are not precise, but as I said I'm just trying to gather them some possible troubleshoot steps to help them.
