Collaborative Planning

I am planning to use the Collaborative planning

(1) I just need to collaborate with my supplier

(2)I have I-supplier and supplier user is setup.

(3)My need is that supplier user logs in and when access collaborative planning can review the supply chain workbench.

(4)I donot expect the supplier to send me commits or have supplier Sales Order details.

Can I still configure Collaborative planning without extensive Supplier/Inventory Org configurations,I also donot need VMI features.

I am wondering that with the base collaborative setups,and Oracle 12 source instance and destination setups would be suffcient.

If someone has worked on or have scenario flow will appreciate.
