ASM in Active/Passive Red Hat Cluster (as per MOS Doc ID 1296124.1) - What role does CRS play?
I am trying to get an offshore Red Hat system administrator to assist me in setting up ASM in an Active/Passive Red Hat cluster.
(Yes I know RAC is the preferred solution, but the decision not to use RAC comes from a higher authority.)

The trouble I am having is that the SA keeps telling me that you cannot have two clustering solutions running on the same system - by which I'm sure he means CRS and the fact that he can see the cssd and ohasd daemons running when he is trying to set up Red Hat Cluster for managing all the other resources.
