Creating 11g R2 physical standby using rman duplicate from active

Hi

We have a 2 node 11g R2 RAC database and a single standalone physical standby database
This is a pre-production test environment that we have inherited

Primary RAC databases and the Standby database both are using ASM

We have 2 questions

Q # 1. Is there a step by step document you can point us to for creating stand alone physical standby database for 11g R2 using RMAN duplicate from active feature


Q # 2. The physical standby (teststdby) is up and running on the standby server.
       We are required to drop / remove that database and create a new one from scratch (we may have to perform this
