Barcode scanning for Oracle SIM

Hi,

I understand that item barcodes can be scanned in SIM using handheld device.

Does SIM PC client provide direct integration to scanning devices? I would like to use normal scanner (like the one that comes with POS) with SIM PC client to scan the barcodes. Is that possible out of box?
