Unable to cost the specific item

Hi,

We are on 11.5.10.2. User is trying to perform cost rollup for a specific items using cost rollup - no Report program. Whenever he enters value in specific item, he is getting error APP-BOM-42010 and not allowing to submit the concurrent program.

Error message says that one of the five condition has failed which caused the error.

1) The item is not cost enabled. --> This is ruled out.

2) The alternate BOM designator specified is not valid --> How to check this and how to reproduce this. Can anyone help with navigation and steps

3) Based on rollup flag is false for the specified and default cost types --> How to reproduce this ? Can anyone help with navigation steps
