Mark for recalculation question - Task Organisation Update - Please Help!!!

Hi,

 

What exactly does the mark for recalculation option do when you update the Organisation value in a Project Task?

 

When I update the organisation value for a task a message that says: "Do you want to mark existing future-dated expenditure items belonging to this task for recalculation? Expenditure items dated prior to this change will not be marked for recalculation" is displayed.

 

Which is the impact of choosing the "No" option?
