Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. This means that users with generic domains (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, and others) will no longer be granted access to the discussion forums and ideas labs. Customized FA Account Generator - question on profile option FA: Use Workflow Account Generation

We have customized FA Account Generator and have attached it to Account Generator Processes in GL (through Setup>Financials>Flexfields>Key>Accounts

We are using seeded subledger accounting method STANDARD_ACCRUAL

Our question is should we update profile option FA: Use Workflow Account Generation as Yes, it is currently set as No in System Administrator

If profile option is set as No will the system still derive accounts as per customized FA Account Generator
