Inventory Diagnostic Tools Setup and other options error on List of Values button

For Inventory diagnostics 12.1.3  when I try to run the Setup-Organization Data Collection

and use the button to try to select the organization from the list of values - it ERRORS out.  However I went into the Org maint screen (in Inventory) and found the orgid, went back into diagnostics and hand entered the id it then executed the diagnostic. 

It errors on other Inventory related LOVs within the diagnostic tools..   Other modules are ok (a/r, a/p, g/l) 

any ideas?
