Can EAR be used with a different BI tool than OBIEE?

Can JD Edwards Environmental Accounting and Reporting (G79A) be used with a different Data Warehouse Builder than Oracle Warehouse Builder and a different Business Intelligence tool than Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)?

I know that Oracle's documentation only references Oracle Warehouse Builder as the ETL layer and OBIEE as the BI tool, but I would like to know if anyone is already using this new module with a different BI tool.
