Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. US PAY: Income tax with negative value

hi,
we are working in oracle applications 11i. in oracle hrms after running payroll for august we have an employee with a negative income tax amount.

The income tax element has been used for a long time and no changes were made to the element or the element link recently.

what do i need to check ?
help please
