sessions hang on querying on particuler table

Hi,

           I face a performance problem 2 days back issue is solved but want to know actul cause of this problem.

 

 every thing is work fine till last week when this week started all session get stuck we unable to trace the problem for whole day all the users sufar a lot we check every corner of our infrastructure but can't find it later on I check their is high network utilization our database is on SAN and we have seprate VLAN for that both VLAN in Network performence showing very high normal I use to monitor it was't that much I rise a SR with oracle but we are using Oracle forms 6i with Orcale 10g(10.2.0.4) 64bits  on windows 2003
