On hand QTY in secnodary UOM

HI,

Is there any way to check the on hand quantity of conversion item while the secondary UOM is not defined in master item.Let suppose

Peices is the UOM of an item's primary UOM and the intra class conversion is 1Packet=10 Peices

If i sale and purchase in packets UOM so how can i check the on hand qty in packets UOM?while peices can be checked through on hand availability from.
