Lease renewal and asset useful life

Hi,
We have situation were we need to change the assets useful life after lease renewal and that can be done through 'Asset workbench' or 'mass change' but the problem is:

The assets have 'sub components' and I think through 'Mass Change' only the parent asset useful life changes but not the 'Sub component' associated with that parent.

We have hundreds of 'assets' and asset 'sub components' and currently this is been done through 'asset workbench' manually.

Question:

This there a way to change all the assets and associated sub component useful life at once?
