Temporarily restriction the number of cartridge cells to deal with software feature licensing restri

We have an SL500 library with 4 modules yielding 348 cartridge cells/slots, but at present we only have a spare EBS/Networker Library 1-64 slot license.

Is there a way to get the SL500 to reduce the number of cells/slots that it reports so that the current EBS/Networker Library 1-64 slot license will work?  We want this to be a temporary change so that we can re-activate all available slots when the appropriate larger slot license is acquired.

We have OP panel, SLconsole GUI and ssh console access (as 'service') to our various SL500 libraries.
