Is it possible to change 3-Way PO to 2-Way PO

Hi,

Is it possible to change 3-Way PO to 2-Way PO?  Users created 3-Way PO to services, have some matching invoices on HOLD. The period end accural Journal posted to GL and we reverse this Journal on the following month.

Now we are exploring option to change the PO match to 2 Way, hoping the system will release all holds on invoices. Uninvoiced report will show correct results. Please let me know your thoughts.
