Deinstalling Oracle 9.2.0.8

Good afternoon,

I am trying to deinstall a 9.2.0.1 database that was patched with Oracle 9.2.0.8. When using OUI to deinstall products, it indicates that Oracle 9.2.0.8 needs to have a higher version of OUI. After installing a higher version of OUI, it still will not deinstall 9.2.0.8. I have had to deinstall via, registry entries and removing the Oracle folders. Anyone else have issues with deinstalling Oracle 9.2.0.8? How did you solve this issue?
