Lot-Based or Serialized Costing

My understanding is that EBS (R12.x) does not support lot-based or serialized costing. Is this correct?

I'm specifically interested in lot-based, but would assume the solution for either would be the same.

As an example, I'm in a commodity-based brokerage business (no MFG) where I buy/sell containers of product (CPG stuff - oils, wheat, coffee, whatever).

I get one of my containers locally and have zero additional costs other than purchase price. This container costs $1000.

I get one of my containers from oversea and have freight, duties, tariffs, etc. that I could potentially track via Landed Cost Management. This container really costs $1500.
