Sales contract and Repository Contract functionality and migration

HI,

We are in the process of migrating from 11.5.10.2 to 12.1.3. We were using Core Contract in 11i. I have done some research and found out that Core Contract contract and contract for sales has been decommisioned. According to the upgrade document, it suggests that we implement sales contract and repository conrtract in 11i and do the migration. I need clarification on where will the core contract data get stored in 11i, when contract repository is implemented. Will I be able to see my core contract data in repository contract. 

As I am also migrating to 12.1.3. Is it advisable to do contract conversion activity from core contract to repository or sales contract schema.
