Roles and Responsibilities

We are not implementing roles and responsibilities in R12 however, there are certain functions that cannot be done without them.  We just need to change the bank account and are trying to log into Cash Management SuperUser.  I can log in, open other forms, but when I try to open the bank account to update it I receive the message that the role and responsibility is not valid for the user...please contact your system administrator.
Doe anyone know of a quick fix for us to be able to update the bank account?  This is preventing us from running AP checks so it is an urgent issue.  We have reviewed many notes and suggestions but still seem to be missing something.
