excessive undo generation after upgrade to 10.2.0.5

Hi,
I've got some problems after upgrading to 10.2.0.5.4 (from 10.2.0.4).
Quite simple merge statement has started to generate gigabytes of undo records.
Table with about 2,4M reecords (600MB) is merged to a big table with mview log.
From trace, I see that after 390k inserts (from 2,4M) it has generated about 10GB of undo.
I don't know excactly how much of undo it was generating before upgrade but I know for sure it was much less. I have undo tablespace about 32GB and never had problems with space, until now.

No other significant changes on database, so output from query below looks interesting:
