Sort products in eConfigurator

The requirement is to sort the products within a relationship based on another field than the Sequence Number in the eConfigurator session.
Out of the box, it is possible to sort the products in the eConfigurator session only based on the Sequence Number field from Administration - Product > Structure > Relationship Domain ("Sequence Num" field of "ISS Product Structure Domain BusComp" BC).

To implement the customer's request, I assume they should change the appropriate swt templates and/or the js files.

Can anyone provide any guidence regarding what should be changed?
