Database Install/Upgrade/Opatch (MOSC)

Having an issue entering values on the Oracle11g installation forms...

My first Oracle11g install and I can't seem to enter anything into the fields on the install forms.  On the "Typical Install Configuration" form, I'm able to use the "Browse" button to navigate to enter directories; but, I can't key in the Global database name (ORCL is there by default) nor can I key any value into the password fields.  I've tried clicking, double-clicking, tabbing, arrowing -- all to no avail!!  I tried clicking "Next" at the bottom of the form and it gives me "[INS-32001] No value has been given for the Password field."  When I scroll over the fields,
