Automated Scheduling in Project Resource Management

Hi,

We want to do automated scheduling and allocation of resources for projects using Project Resource Management. For e.g. if there is a requirement for a lab technician on 15-Nov-2011 then we want the system to located resources with this skill set who are available on the given date. If yes, the system should automatically allocate the resource to the project. Please let us know if this is a out of the box functionality in Project Resource Management.
