All,
I'm in the process of installing Siebel 8.1.1/8.1.1.5 software on our new W2K (64 bit) application server. We have a separate SQL 2008 (64bit) on W2K (64 bit) database server. I have installed SQL Native Connectivity client 9 (with 64-bit  installer) on the appserver. After installing all the Siebel components, but before creating the Siebel Server configuration, I tried testing the ODBC connection. This was vissible in the Windos\SysWow64\odbcad32 application. It is also using the correct SQL client dll version. But the connection was not working. I noticed the following error in our Gateway log: [Microsoft][SQL Native Client]TCP Provider: No

Howdy, Stranger!
