Track time over accrual limit
Hello everyone,
I have a request from payroll to track leave time that an employee is accruing, but losing as they have already reached the accrual limit. We would like to capture the lost hours at the time that it happens each pay period, not at the end of the year, and not at the employee anniversary date. I understand that we can set up a Lost DBA, and use the DBA on the Leave Balance Rollover (R073910) and also on R073911. Reading the documentation (primarily FAQ doc 625878.1), the lost hours are written to F07149 and F06147. The doc also notes that R073910 can run at any date specified during the year. However, my payroll supervisor is hesitant to run this as we only perform the rollovers at year end. Is it risky to run R073910 at each pay period? Is anyone using R073910 to capture lost time? Or is there a different set up/process that might be better?
