LTO4 tape media brands
I am looking for someone who has LTO4 media who can confirm the external shape of the tape case and the coloring using on the labels.
It's my understanding that it is best to store the tapes in their cases when not in the tape library (SL48 for me). We, also, take the most recent backup (NetBackup) tapes offsite - well to a different building anyway. We use carrying cases from Perm-A-Store and Dell tape cases from our old - no longer used - LTO2s fit just fine. We are not using Dell LTO4 tapes but Sun. Now we are looking something more reasonably priced.
