BI Publisher jdbc driver for Oracle Advanced Security Option

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

Our BI Publisher JDBC connection to the Oracle database failed after we configured the DB with Oracle Advanced Security Option. However, it seems that there is no configuration change required from JDBC client for Oracle JDBC driver. The JDBC connection works fine without the security which proves that our configuration is good. Need help when database is secured.

 

Need to know:

1. How to configure jdbc driver for Oracle Advanced Security Option?

2. What JDBC driver is used by Oracle BIP 10.1.3.4?

3. Where the jdbc driver is installed (ie. system directory)?

4. What configuration change is required to make it work?
